Martha Manning is a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the counseling field. She has experience in various modalities and settings that include group counseling, family counseling, individual counseling, and at risk-youth, as well, as working with the elderly population in assisted living facilities.
She received her Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and has helped individuals overcome various challenges such as family dysfunction, trauma, depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety, grief and loss, addiction, anger management, and social phobias.
As a counselor, she believes the basis of therapeutic success lies in the foundation of a strong rapport between the counselor and those with whom she works with. You will find that she is very forthcoming and transparent about her own life experiences, as she thoroughly believes that transparency and increasing self-awareness is critical to promoting success and positive growth.
