Tyanna has a passion for building relationships and helping others heal and recover from traumatic experiences. It has been the most rewarding experience in her career and with over 10 years of clinical practice working with individuals, couples, and families, she has learned that clients are often their own worst enemy and best problem-solver. With navigation, newly learned skills, and empowerment clients have the power to evolve into an improved version of themselves.
Earning her Master of Social Work Degree from the University of South Carolina, she has been a professional in the field since 2009, practicing psychotherapy since 2011. She is licensed by the State of South Carolina as a Licensed Independent Social Worker- Clinical Practice and licensed by the State of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is an approved supervisor with the Social Work Examiners Board in South Carolina assisting those in the pursuit of clinical licensure. In addition, Tyanna is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the International Association of Trauma Professionals where she is certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional.
